Gwen's Beyond the Qube

Gwen made this gorgeous quilt called Beyond the Qube from Accuquilt and wanted it custom quilted.

I used a very light silver/gray thread overall.

Just a bit of ruler work where it shows makes the extra effort worth it.

Thanks Gwen! I just love how this one turned out!

30's Pinwheels Quilt

Diane brought me this lovely pinwheel quilt that used lots of vintage 30's prints.

I love looking at all the fun prints in 30's fabrics!

Thanks Diane!

Luna in the Fall

I made this quilt! I made it for my kids school auction fundraiser that was last November. Last year I made a winter themed quilt, so I thought a fall quilt would be appropriate for a fall fundraiser.

My label.

I decided on the Luna pattern my Kitchen Table Quilting because it was simple to make, yet very eye catching. I was able to use up a LOT of scraps!

I quilted the cream areas with a fun feather that were all going in the same direction--down.

And the darker areas I used a variegated thread and did swirls and all sorts of leaves.

I was able to use up quite a bit of my fall colored fabrics, as well as a lot of my darker creams as lights.

I love how this quilt turned out! Once the pieces were all cut, it went together very quickly. I'll probably make this pattern again, it was so fun to sew!

Chenille Pumpkin Table Runners

Pat brought me THREE of these chenille pumpkin table runners.

I carefully quilted between every couple sections or so of the chenille layers. Once my foot was safely in-between, it guided it's way through no problems.

I varied the background quilting with each one slightly. One with swirls...

...paisleys...

...and one with curls.

What cute and fun project! Thanks Pat!

Oh, Glory! and Fall Wallhanging

Lorraine made a few small projects- This first orange one is a nice wallhanger for fall.

I filled the middle with swirls and leaves, and did some ribbon candy in the outer border.

A peek of the back.

I've quilted a few of these runners for different clients- must have been a class on it! Oh, Glory! is a free pattern from APQ here.

Thanks Lorriane!
