Steampunk

Becki made this Steampunk quilt. It's just awesome!

I quilted some giant-sized super swirls all over it.

Some of her fabrics are vintage, and some are modern prints.

Either way, the fabric combos are fun to look at.

A look at the back.
A fun little glitch showed up in the photo after I edited it. That light spot is not there in real life.
Thanks Becki!

A couple more quilts by Jessica

Another baby quilt from Jessica to share. This one uses some fun London themed prints.

All over clam shells.

I used a navy thread on it. The guardsmen, phone booths and royal crowns are just adorable.

This one is a throw size.

I quilted some all-over paisleys on it. You can find these quilts and many more available for purchase from Jessica's Etsy site- Home in the Heartland

Thanks Jessica!

On the Road

How fun is this quilt?! Jessica brought me this On the Road pattern that features a rainbow fleet of VW vans.

I decided to quilt ribbon candy in the sashings and did my best interpretation of 60's hippy looking designs in the blocks.

I even attempted a ying-yang symbol in the corner of this blue one.

Lots of itty bitty pieces and seams in this pattern, but what great detail!

And guess what?? Jessica has this posted on her Etsy site, so this cozy work of art could be yours!

A look at the back.

Thanks Jessica for a super fun one!
