Luna in the Fall

I made this quilt! I made it for my kids school auction fundraiser that was last November. Last year I made a winter themed quilt, so I thought a fall quilt would be appropriate for a fall fundraiser.

My label.

I decided on the Luna pattern my Kitchen Table Quilting because it was simple to make, yet very eye catching. I was able to use up a LOT of scraps!

I quilted the cream areas with a fun feather that were all going in the same direction--down.

And the darker areas I used a variegated thread and did swirls and all sorts of leaves.

I was able to use up quite a bit of my fall colored fabrics, as well as a lot of my darker creams as lights.

I love how this quilt turned out! Once the pieces were all cut, it went together very quickly. I'll probably make this pattern again, it was so fun to sew!
