Mom's Cheddar and Indigo

Becki made this beautiful Cheddar and Indigo quilt.

I quilted the cheddar areas first in a matching color thread.

The next step was the ruler work in the pieced blocks in a navy thread.

I was able to work my way all the way across the row, and then quilt my way back over so there was very little stopping and starting at all.

Teresa's Simpler Version

Teresa made this version of the same quilt pattern, minus the hexies. I think she got a little burnt out on the tediousness of them :) Totally understandable!

I just quilted some overall designs of half feathers, paisleys, and curls.

This is what happens when I try to take a quilt picture if my daughter is around. "I just need you to please get off the quilt for 20 seconds so I can take a picture!"

Teresa's Hexie Flowers Quilt

Teresa made this fun quilt with machine applique circles and hexies.

I used two different colors of threads- a light and a dark for each area.

MaryJo's Floral Mystery Quilt

MaryJo made this sweet version of our guild's Mystery quilt.

I followed suit with the large florals and added some curls and circles with the quilting.

Gina's ISU Quilts

Gina made these two amazing Iowa State quilts for her daughters.

I used a red thread for all-over paisleys, circles, and stars for this gold sashed version.
