MaryJo's Autumn Birch Forest and Mystery Quilts

MaryJo brought me a few quilts. This one uses a panel by Gustav Klimt called Autumn Birch Forest.

Anita's Wallhangings- Grinch Hand, Hearts

Anita made a couple more little wallhangings for me to custom quilt. How cute is this Grinch one?!

Halloween Kitty

Anita made this adorable little Halloween kitty wallhanging.

Whoopies! This was such a small project that I decided to float it and secure it with a few pins. And then I quilted right through it and just kept on going!

A little ripping and all is well.

Furrr Ever Friends Flannel Baby Quilt

Gina made this sweet flannel baby quilt using prints from the Furr Ever Friends fabric line.

I outlined the squares in the center panels.

Memory Quilts

Yvonne and a few of her friends were commissioned to make four memory quilts for a family who lost both of their parents recently. We were able to fit two quilts on one wide backing.

Each quilt was sure to have a handkerchief,

a Lions Club, a shirt with their hometown name on it, and part of a special baseball cap.

As well as a printed photo of the couple.

I love how she used wider borders on two sides of the tshirts instead of a narrow border all the way around. It showcases the plaid and striped shirts much better.

They all turned out really nice. Yvonne shared with me the emotional experience the family member had when he picked up the completed quilts. What a special project to be a part of. Thanks Yvonne!

Pink Posies

Diane brought me this super sweet machine embroidered quilt with pink flowers and leaves.

I double outlined each flower and added a bit of detail in the flowers and a swirl in the centers.

State Fair and Scrap Busting Quilt

Diane brought me this fun State Fair baby quilt.

This one has a fleece backing and no batting.

I had my do.good stitches circle mates create a few Scrap Busting quilt blocks. These blocks were quick and fun to make. I made a few more to add on an extra column. It will go together quick whenever I decide to get after it.
