Tate's Baby Quilt

Landon (a Jr. 4-H'er) made this baby quilt for his littlest brother as a 4-H project. He used an embroidered block his great grandma had made for the center.

His grandma helped him sew it together and marked all the letters of the alphabet using stencils and a water soluble marker. The last yellow square in the bottom right corner was left blank intentionally, but I can't remember why. A label perhaps?

I was to quilt around each letter and outline the fisherman.

I quilted around the raw edge appliqued letters a couple times around.

Great job Landon! I love how four generations were involved in some way on this special project!
