Alice's Grey Sampler, Brown Bricks

A couple more fun quilts from Alice. This throw sized quilt is pieced in a large brick style layout in soft browns.

I quilted lots of feathered swirls and leaves all over.

And free-handed a feather-curl border.

Next up is this really neat sampler done in 2 shades of gray. 

Each block is made twice, one with the colors reversed.

I quilted a paisley feather in the outside border and a pattern of circles in the narrow border.

Lots of half-feathers, curls, and more circles in the blocks.
