This special quilt is called Covid Friends Tribute Quilt made by Paula. It was a block of the month kit done by our local quilt shop. This is the Amish Style version.
Each block in the sampler tells a part of the Covid-19 story. This was a BIG quilt measuring 107 by 107", I couldn't even get it all in one picture.
These blocks here are representing Pandora's Box, Faith, the Big Apple, and mask up.
Red Cross and Chinese Lantern. I quilted all-over half feathers, curls, paisleys, etc.
I gotta give Paula a slow clap for choosing a black batting to go between her solid black backing and mostly black quilt top. Definitely the way to go with this quilt.
What a great way to commemorate this situation we are all in. And a fun way to pass the time in quarantine for sure. Thanks Paula!
