Thrive

Diane and her family have TWO upcoming family weddings, so they got together and made TWO versions of Thrive.

She requested straight line quilting, much like the one shown in the pattern. 

I made these lines 1 inch apart. I learned pretty quickly that it was going to be pretty much impossible to perfectly hit each corner. Even with impeccable piecing, there would have to be some pulling and easing of fabric in order to hit each seam perfectly.

So I decided to just focus on making the lines spaced evenly and keep them straight, and it will look pretty darn good even if the corners don't line up perfectly.
