Quilting a triangle border

Norene made this cheery quilt and the large border made it a perfect candidate to try out a new border design.

A ruler design. This one is out of Angela Walters 'Shape by Shape' book. It worked out pretty well!

The corners worked out really well.

The blocks inside I filled with flowers, swirls, and leaves.

I hope you like your fancy border Norene!

Katie's Big Flower Quilt

My sister Katie made this amazing flower quilt.

for the border, I just outlined the large flowers in the print.

Then each large flower block was outlined and filled in with various different designs. A feather here.

A large petal-loop here.

The background was just filled with a meander.

A peek at the back. Hope you enjoy your quilt Katie!

Blue and Brown Snowball

Norene made this lovely blue and brown snowball quilt.

I knew I wanted to quilt something fancy and decided on this geometric design. I used my Sidekick curved rulers.

Each block only needed one stop and start. But still pretty time consuming though.

The back is pretty neat!

more baby quilts from Jessica

Jessica made another little quilt with a sampling of Lilly Pulitzer fabrics. So adorable.

An overall swirl/flower/leaf pattern.

This sweet little baby quilt is all flannels.

Curly Q's.

Beep Beep! Triangles and big bubbles all over this one.

Cute. Love how she always orients her fabric right-side-up.

Giddy-up! This little cowboy quilt has lassos and paisleys quilted in it.

Thanks for letting me quilt all the adorable quilts for you Jess!

Jessica's quilts

Jessica dropped of another mother-load of quilts for me to work on a while back. And here they are. She sells a lot of her quilts on her Etsy site. Check it out, you might just be able to purchase what you see here.

I gave this one a giant swirl and pebble treatment.

The back. Oh yeah. I put some feathers in there too. :)

And here is this adorable baby quilt. I just love these blue-green colors.

An all-over heart design went on this one. More from Jessica to come soon!

little log cabins

Norene made this little quilt using Tiny log cabin blocks. I quilted it kinda fancy and divided the spacer blocks into quarters and then did a geometric design in the cabins.

The design in the plain blocks is from Anglea Walters latest book- Shape by Shape. Its a good one as I keep reaching for it looking for ideas for different shaped blocks and spaces.

I like the back just as much as the front!

Thanks for letting me quilt your quilts Norene!
