Iowa Hawkeye quilt

Becki made this Iowa Hawkeye quilt as a wedding gift for a couple of big Hawkeye fans.

I used a bright yellow thread for this one. Lots of swirls, circles, and paisleys all over.

Some stars...

And a few I's thrown in there too.  Thanks Becki!
If you think this quilt looks familiar, it's the 3rd one I've quilted like this :)

Rhonda's started it, then Becki followed with her own version. It's a great pattern to show off those licenced prints!

Norene's Slash quilt

Norene made this fun quilt with a layer cake and some creative rotary cutting skills.

I quilted a fun mix of designs into the Kaffe fabrics. Swirls, flowers, leaves, circles...

I used a cream thread on this one.  Thanks Norene!

Book shelf blocks and 30's 4-patch

February's blocks for doGood Stitches were bookshelves.  I think they look like books on a shelf anyway.  I added a few bits of ribbon to the 'spines'.

Alyce had me quilt this vintage 30's 4-patch quilt. She requested some ruler work zig-zags on it.

It turned out pretty neat! I like how the lines switch directions in the blue blocks.

These 30's fabrics were fun to look at.

Thanks Alyce!!

Rail Fence and a Mystery Quilt

Lois made this rail fence quilt.

The center has a feather/swirl/leaf overall design in it.

The navy border has a fun feather.

the back.

This one from Paula was a mystery quilt from our quilt guild.  Turned out so nice!

I did and overall feathered paisley/swirls design overall.

The back. Thanks ladies!
