Jann's Batik Floral

Jann made this beautiful throw quilt with some shimmery gold florals and batiks.

I quilted some all-over half-feathers, leaves, and flowers in the center.

For the border, I quilted a large flower on each bundle.

The back shows some hearts in the mix as well.

Thanks Jann!

Gina's Christmas Charm Quilt

Here's another Christmas quilt I did last fall. Gina made this sweet little quilt with some 5 inch squares.

Loved these sweet little festive prints. I quilted all-over curls and holly leaves.

Thanks Gina!

Peg's Red Machine Embroidered Christmas Quilts

Peg stitched up a couple more redwork machine embroidered Santa quilts. Just like the first one she made. She decided to make one for each of her 3 children for Christmas. Yes, these were quilted last October. I'm that far behind in the blogging.

So, naturally I quilted them all the same way as before.

A little wreath with holly, berries, pine twigs and ribbon curls.

And outlining and backfilling the Santa blocks- just making it up as I go.

The back.

Thanks Peg!

Marilyn's Baby Quilts

Marilyn made a couple of baby quilts. This first one used a cute penguin panel.

I quilted some all-over swirls.

This one is a string quilt using some cute children's prints.

I quilted an all-over design with scalloped paisleys.

Thanks Marilyn!

Pink Tulips and Table Topper

Diane brought me these two small projects to quilt up. I just love this first one. Scrappy pink tulip baby quilt.

It totally looks like something I would make :)

I quilted an all-over design with paisley swirls and leaves.

This one was done without batting to keep it lighter weight and have more of a drape.

The backing was a white fleece. So cozy!

More all-over quilting for this table topper quilt.

This did have batting.

The back.
Thanks Diane!

Black and white bear/Sheep

Sharon made these sweet little baby quilts. They are black and white with just a tiny touch of pink or blue in them.

I outlined the sheep and lightly filled in the bodies with some stitching.

I filled the background with lots of swirls and curls and things.

For the wide borders, I quilted an echoed undulating wave all around.

The back--more dimpled minky in a soft gray.

Here's the blue bear version.

I did the same type of background and outlined the bear as well as his tie.

I did a different border with a big ribbon candy/loop design.

Thanks Sharon!
