Joanne's Leaf Tablerunner

Joanne made this sweet little table runner for fall. I'm starting you off with the backside.

I outlined each leaf and filled each in with a different filler design.

And here's the front side.

Leaves in the border and sashings.

I used a brown thread throughout the piece.

Thanks Joanne!

Norene's Purple DNP

Norene made this Disappearing 9-Patch quilt with lots of purples. A certain purple-loving granddaughter requested a quilt in purple, so that's what she got!

I had fun with the wide borders.

More paisley swirl feathers in the center.

You can't see the quilting in the polka-dot border--

Until you look at the back! I experimented with a couple new designs.

Variations of ribbon candy.

Thanks Norene!

Cindy's Bright Flannel

Cindy made this super cozy quilt in all bright flannel with a 'Fireside' backing. I usually crop out my feet in photos, but since my crazy fuzzy socks matched the quilt so well, I thought I would let this one go. :)

This is such a bright and fun quilt, I wanted to quilt something a bit whimsical. I took a cue from one of the prints--the olive green with the triangles--and went with a similar design.

I used a variegated thread that had pastel blue, yellow, purple, and pink colors in it.

It fit the bill perfect for this colorful quilt!

I used a blue thread on the back.

Triangle swirls.

A feet-less photo. Thanks Cindy!

Split 9-Patch DGS

This quilt is our do.Good Stitches Split 9-Patch that we started making sometime last summer I think? August? I'm not sure anymore, but it's all done!

We made a Split 9-patch quilt with blues, grays, black and lights previously with my Haven circle. I arranged that one in a zig-zag pattern, so I wanted to try out another layout this time.

This go-around I wanted a brighter color palate. And going off of some yardage I wanted to use up, went with red and yellow with bright colors on one side and lights on the other.

I quilted paisley feathered swirls all over the center area, with some double circles in the mix too.

More paisley feathers in the yellow border, and playing on the polka-dots, did some double circles in the narrow red border.

Love this layout! You can find my little tutorial for this block here

Another great job ladies! This is going out to Texas to our designated charity, Covered In Love.

Kelsi's Secret Quilt

Kelsi had me quilt up this quilt back when I did her Purple one a few months ago. But I had to keep this one a secret! A secret from her extended family-her aunt especially- who is a friend of mine and reads the blog sometimes.

Can you guess what this pattern is?

It's Pac-Man! I quilted it with all-over paisley swirls, but added a few special touches here and there. Can you spot the cherries?

And a few pellets he missed.

At Kelsi's family Christmas a handmade quilt gets put into the gift exchange. It is very coveted and gets stolen several times before it ends up with the winner. There are special rules in place too, so that the same person/family doesn't end up with it each year.

Usually, it's her aunt who makes the quilt, but this time Kelsi made one as well as a surprise!

And here is a set of ghost eyes. Kelsi later appliqued Pac-Man and ghosts onto the quilt. I'd love to see how it turned out. Thanks Kelsi!

Lois's Let is Snow Panel and Mystery Quilt

Here is a couple more from Lois. Another cute printed panel.

I quilted all over paisleys in the panel and tried out a new curvy design in the black border.

A peek at the back.

Here is Lois's Mystery Quilt that our local guild did last year.

I quilted all over designs of feathers, swirls, leaves and such but doing some custom work in the star blocks.

Thanks Lois!

Lois's USA and Winter Wonderland panels

Lois stitched up a couple of great printed panel quilts. This first one is very patriotic.

I quilted the borders individually, starting with a pointy feather in the red, then an undulating 2-feathers and a star design in the cream.

Simple circles in the blue.

The printed panel got an all-over treatment with paisleys.

This "Winter Wonderland" penguin panel is just so cute.

Wintry swirls and snowflakes fit the bill for this frosty little scene.

And ribbon candy in the red border.

Thanks for the fun quilts Lois!
