Peggy's charm square quilt

Peggy-a beginner quilter- made this vibrant quilt.

Feathered swirls in the colored squares, loops in the white setting triangles, large bubbles in the narrow white border and more feathered swirls in the pieced colored border.

What a fun quilt!

A peek at her pieced scrappy back. Thanks Peggy!

Bee Hexagon quilt

Teresa made this hexagon quilt using a bee themed fabric line.

I did some ruler work in the setting triangles to accent the stars.

For the hexagons, I just outlined a quarter inch around the inside and filled in with swirls to keep it simple and let the fabrics shine.

Thanks Teresa for another fun one!

About Trout

Shelia made this About Trout quilt pattern. This is the second time I've quilted this pattern. Teresa made the first.

She wanted it quilted similarly to the last one, except hers has a border with dimensional fishing lures.  I quilted straight back and forth lines around them.

Large swirls and pebbles around the trout.

Each fish is quilted a bit differently than the rest using color coordinating threads.

A peek at the back perhaps shows the borders a bit better.

Thanks Shelia! I enjoyed this one probably more than the first since I already knew what I was doing this time around.  It went much faster!  Someone can send another About Trout my way any old time. :)
