Pop Stars table runner

I bought this Pop Stars table runner pattern at my LQS in October. I had received a couple of mini charm packs as a door prize at a quilt guild meeting and this pattern was perfect for them!

I decided to use the 'no waste' flying geese method instead of the stitch and flip as the pattern calls. So I found some coordinating fabric from my stash. Plus just a few more 2.5 inch squares.

I had a hard time making a decision on how to custom quilt it. I like how it turned out!
(I had to include the ugly orange goose fabric. It's our signature!)

Lots of ruler work and corner-to-corners. (the horse fabric is for Dad- the horse lover.)

I gave it to my parents in honor of their 40th Wedding anniversary. They are already enjoying it here on their dining room table.

Loved this pattern and will probably make it again, this time for MY table ;)

Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad!

Jessica's Cherry Baby quilt

Jessica made this adorable baby quilt. Love those cherries!

I echoed the cherries and added some veins in the leaves and a large spiral in the cherries.

The rest was filled with swirls, leaves and flowers.

Thanks Jessica!

Paula's manly quilt

Paula made this manly quilt for her husband with these fun novelty prints.  Beer, cigars, watches, and cars.

I quilted an all-over paisley swirl on it in a gray thread.

Thanks Paula! I'm sure he will love it!

Joanne's Fall 16-Patch

Joanne made this lovely fall 16-patch quilt.

Ok, so these next two pics are terribly blurry, but it's what I've got of the front of the quilt.

She requested a meander with leaves, stars and moons.

The back.

Thanks Joanne!

Teresa's Christmas Tiles

Teresa made this awesome Christmas quilt.

I did some custom borders of feathers, large pebbles in the green, and more feathers in the red sashings.

I did a bit of custom work in the square tiles and filled in the rest of the octagon shapes with an all-over feathery swirl. I felt it was only necessary to do custom where it would show up the best.

Thanks Teresa!

Joet's Baby quilt

Joet made this adorable baby quilt using polo and Hawaiian shirts. She has made one similar before.

I quilted it with feathered swirls. She had me bind it as well. I did this on my regular machine by stitching the double fold binding to the back, then topstitching it down from the front.

The back turned out really nice.
2X3 flat Lego brick is there for scale purposes. :)

Thanks Joet!

And here is my DGS Haven circle block for October. Love these quirky little butterflies. It is just four 3.5 inch squares that you stitch and flip 2 wonky butterfly wings onto. It will make a 12 inch finished block. So simple, yet I had to redo one 3 times! I just couldn't get that wing to flip over enough!
