Here's a few more baby quilts from Jessica. This one was all things wind, sky, and air, so I did a big swirling breeze design on it.

love the soft colors and sweet prints!

Jessica's baby quilts

Jessica sent me a box full of baby quilts for me to work on. So fun- I love quilting baby quilts. This one is so sweet; it makes me think of yummy lemon squares.

I c2c'd the 'lemon squares' and did a loop design in the sashings.

This one is adorable too. The feature fabric has nursury rhyme characters in it.

I did an all-over feathered swirl on it.

The back is perhaps where you can see the quilting a bit better. You can find these quilts and more at Jessica's Etsy site- Home in the Heartland. I'll be posting more quilts from Jessica soon!

Joyce's charity quilts

Joyce made a couple quilts she is donating to a local charity, so just do something simple she said.

So this is my something simple.  Super Giant swirls.

Each swirl is about 6 or 8 inches across.

This super bright flowery quilt got some of my swirls and flowers on it.

That's simple to me! Thanks Joyce!

Wanta Fanta :: DGS Haven circle

June was my month for my Do.Good Stitches circle and I had my circle mates make these Wanta Fanta blocks using scrappy blues and lights. It turned out so neat!

To quilt it I used my Curvit ruler to outline each blue area in a gray thread and filled in with ribbon candy. Then I went back with white thread and outlined the light areas and filled in with various sized swirls and pebbles. Quilting it took 4.5 hours.

I love it!

I added a scrappy 2.5 inch square border around the edge for several reasons.
A) to make it a little bit bigger.
B) To use up some of my overflowing blue scrap bin.
C) to help frame the quilt

Blue polka dot binding. (I usually cut binding at 2.5 inches, but realized if if I cut at 2.25, I would have just barely enough!)

Finished size is 72 by 57 inches.  Thanks Haven circle once again for coming through with the blocks for this quilt. Together, we make amazing quilts! This quilt has been sent to Redeemed Ministries in Round Rock, Texas.

Norene's log cabin

Norene made this log cabin quilt a while back and I had fun quilting this one.

I did a giant S-curve in the darks and pebbles and swirls in the lights. This allowed me to travel across the quilt in each area without having to stop and start.

Down the line.

A few shots of the back.

That's it! Thanks for visiting.
