Smooth Sailing, Tahoe Ski Week

Jessica made this fun version of the Smooth Sailing quilt pattern.

Lots of swirls and gentle breezes for this one.

She also made this quilt made with Tahoe Ski Week fabric line.

Love these prints! They remind me of an old school computer game I would play sometimes- Ski Free.

I was never very good at it.
Thanks Jessica!

Scrappy Bear Paw- DoGood Stitches Nurture Circle

Quilting in action.

This is my Nurture Circle DoGood Stitches Scrappy Bear Paw quilt.

Oh. My. Gosh. Iloveitsomuch!

I had my circle mates create a block in warm colors, along with adding sashing to two sides with a turquoise cornerstone.

Once again, they totally nailed it!

The blocks are 21.5 inches unfinished.

Here it is all bound up and ready for shipping to Covered in Love.

Squares and HST units in the blocks are 3.5 inches unfinished, sashings are cut out at 2.5 inches wide.

I tried out a new quilting design.

Love a good stripey-chevron print for binding.

It turned out so nice, I want to make one for myself. Like. Right now. :D

Shadow Box and Beer Cheers Panel

Paula made two of these shadow box quilts, this one is Nebraska Cornhusker themed.

And this one is John Deere tractor themed.

Gold Star: All her tractors and Nebraskas are right side up!

What a neat pattern!

Paula also made this neat Beer Cheers Retro Beer ad panel.

The borders were fun to do. I was thinking 'beer goggles' and beer stein curves.
eh? yeah?

Thanks Paula!

MaryJo's Swell Christmas Log Cabin

MaryJo made this Log cabin quilt as part one of the Swell Christmas Quilt.

Part 2 is appliqueing a large Santa on it. She is going to add an extra layer of batting behind him for more quilting definition as well as to hide the fabric from behind. Then I'll get it back to quilt Santa.

Can't wait to see it all completed!
