Farm Life Quilt

Norene made this neat Farm Life quilt using some really neat black and white fabrics.

I got to custom quilt it using a silver gray thread.

A little bit of ruler work.

And some free-motion.

Foot photo bomb!

Have a look-see of the back.

This one turned out so neat.  Thanks Norene!

Iowa Hawkeyes T-shirt Quilt

Here is another T-shirt quilt for you. Donna and her daughter made this Iowa Hawkeye T-shirt quilt for their son-in-law/husband as a special gift.

I quilted lots of paisleys and other random designs in the mix.

I also added IOWA and 2018 in the black cornerstones going down on each side, and stars down the center.

They used a soft knit fabric for the sashings and borders, as well as the back. It's basically a 100% t-shirt quilt, so it will be super soft and cozy.

A look at the back.

Thanks Donna! Love how this one turned out!

Go Cyclones! :)

Soccer T-shirt Quilt

This T-shirt quilt here was made by Pat for a 2020 high school graduate.

I had fun quilting it up with paisleys and adding a few other designs into the mix.

I outlined the t-shirt decals and added double circles (soccer balls perhaps?) in the gray cornerstones.

I used a light gray thread throughout.
Thanks Pat!

Joan's Log Cabin Spools

Joan made this spin on a log cabin pattern.

Love the spools it makes in the corners.

I kept the quilting very traditional with all-over feathers in a cream thread.

The back. Thanks Joan!

Cheryl's Signature Quilt

Cheryl made this special signature quilt for her daughter's wedding.

I believe she had the quilt top pieced together and had the wedding guests sign in a square.

I love this idea of a guest book that you can snuggle up with!

I quilted an all-over feathered paisley swirl design.

Thanks Cheryl!

Norene made another stacked coins quilt top, this time in browns and autumnal tones.

I quilted lots of feathers, leaves and curls.

Thanks Norene!

Luann's Feathery Quilt

Luann brought me this quilt, at first glance, I thought it was a disappearing 9-patch, but I don't think it really is.

She used a fun feather print, so I ran with that by quilting lots of pointy feathers.

Just doing an all-over designs in a cream thread.

Thanks Luann!

End Game

Donna made this awesome quilt called 'End Game' for her daughter as a wedding present.

I outlined each shape and free-motion filled inside each color with a different design.

I even matched the thread colors!

Lots of back and forth advancing the quilt on this one. But it had to be done. I started with the white areas, then the next largest color area, working my way down to the last couple colored areas.

Love how this one turned out!
Beep. Boop.
Game Over.
Thanks Donna!
