Selvage Feathers

I completed a project! 

I saw this project on a blog post back in 2015 using the Feather Bed quilt pattern by Anna Marie Horner only in all selvages. It looks like the blog I saw it on no longer exists. And the Feather Bed pattern was a free tutorial at the time, so I saved it for later.

I had fun quilting it grafitti-style using color coordinating threads around each feather.

I outlined each feather and spine, and didn't quilt inside the feathers at all.

It is bound in a navy fabric, like the spines. I still need to put a sleeve or something on the back to hang it by. And then hang it up in my sewing space. I turned out great!
