Linda's Bright Orange Floral

Linda made this super bright quilt with some bright floral fabrics.

I quilted all over with lots of flower designs.

Leaves and half-feathers.

Love this colorful fabric!

This was my first time quilting with this dimpled minky. I was concerned about how it would look after it was quilted. Would the dimples deflate?

Nope.
They are just fine.
No issues at all.
Keep quilting on!

Thanks Linda!

Lexi's Large Scale Print Quilt

Lexi made this big cozy quilt with some fun and bold prints. She used minky for the backing, but opted to omit batting to keep it light weight and cozy.

I quilted lots of fun things all over in a pink thread color on this one.

Feathers, swirls, flowers, leaves, paisleys, you name it-you can probably find it! No quilting definition to see from the top when there is no batting...

...but it's here for sure on the backside!

Yeah, a little bit of everything is in the mix here.

Thanks Lexi! I had fun quilting this one up for sure.

Becki's Stacked Coins

Becki made several of these Stacked Coins quilts using up lots of scraps.

The long blocks were perfect for quilting up some fun feathers.

And I also tried a ribbon candy variation.

A great way to use up scrap strips, as these are all different widths.

A little spine-less feather in the narrow border.

A peek at the back.
Thanks Becki! You'll be seeing a few more variations of this quilt pattern as I'm slowly working on getting them quilted up.

Joanne's Leaf Tablerunner

Joanne made this sweet little table runner for fall. I'm starting you off with the backside.

I outlined each leaf and filled each in with a different filler design.

And here's the front side.

Leaves in the border and sashings.

I used a brown thread throughout the piece.

Thanks Joanne!

Norene's Purple DNP

Norene made this Disappearing 9-Patch quilt with lots of purples. A certain purple-loving granddaughter requested a quilt in purple, so that's what she got!

I had fun with the wide borders.

More paisley swirl feathers in the center.

You can't see the quilting in the polka-dot border--

Until you look at the back! I experimented with a couple new designs.

Variations of ribbon candy.

Thanks Norene!

Cindy's Bright Flannel

Cindy made this super cozy quilt in all bright flannel with a 'Fireside' backing. I usually crop out my feet in photos, but since my crazy fuzzy socks matched the quilt so well, I thought I would let this one go. :)

This is such a bright and fun quilt, I wanted to quilt something a bit whimsical. I took a cue from one of the prints--the olive green with the triangles--and went with a similar design.

I used a variegated thread that had pastel blue, yellow, purple, and pink colors in it.

It fit the bill perfect for this colorful quilt!

I used a blue thread on the back.

Triangle swirls.

A feet-less photo. Thanks Cindy!

Split 9-Patch DGS

This quilt is our do.Good Stitches Split 9-Patch that we started making sometime last summer I think? August? I'm not sure anymore, but it's all done!

We made a Split 9-patch quilt with blues, grays, black and lights previously with my Haven circle. I arranged that one in a zig-zag pattern, so I wanted to try out another layout this time.

This go-around I wanted a brighter color palate. And going off of some yardage I wanted to use up, went with red and yellow with bright colors on one side and lights on the other.

I quilted paisley feathered swirls all over the center area, with some double circles in the mix too.

More paisley feathers in the yellow border, and playing on the polka-dots, did some double circles in the narrow red border.

Love this layout! You can find my little tutorial for this block here

Another great job ladies! This is going out to Texas to our designated charity, Covered In Love.
