Swirly Purple Snail Trail

My sister made this lovely purple snail's trail quilt.  Love how she made it lighter in the center!  She said that she had to lay it out as she was making it and figure out how to make each block.

Quilting this one was all about the swirls.

Here's a little sneak peek at my garden.  This little gray butterfly is called a Gray Hairstreak.  I learned a little something about it here.  It says it is common in "disturbed, weedy areas"...  Baa Haa haa!  That's my yard alright! :)

'Victoria Falls' Iris- One of the bluest irises out there!

I love this snail trail quilt...so pretty. I made one that is all blacks &grays with a narrow red border. It is still one of my favorite quilts.Love the swirls too!

She did a great job! Your quilting swirls are perfect for this quilt.

Do I dare confess I haven't touched my longarm in months? I don't even consider it when it comes time to quilt something. =/
