Jessica's baby quilts

More baby quilts from Jessica.

Bears and foxes.

Went with this undulating design.

My kids loved the farm fabrics in this one.

I did an all-over with double bubbles and a leaf/loop design.

And no quilt pile from Jessica would be complete if there wasn't a Lilly Pulitzer in the mix!

Such fun fabrics!

Flowers, swirls and leaves.

Thanks Jessica!!

dgs Jan blocks and Jessica's

For DoGood Stitches Haven circle's January blocks we made these little houses. This is the second time we have made this pattern-the first turned out so cute! These are made using 5 inch squares, so they come together super quick. Easy peasy lemon squeezey!

Jessica had a pile of quilts for me once again.

This darling postage stamp baby quilt got an all-over curl/flower design.

Here is one using Charlie Harper bird prints. So fun!

Of course I did a feather design.

Swirled feathers I call them.
Thanks Jess!

Lois's Red Christmas quilt

Lois made this nice Christmas themed quilt in black, white, red and grays.

I quilted an all-over design with curls and holly leaves. And a few hearts since there were some heart printed fabrics in there.

I really like how it turned out.

the backside.

Thanks Lois!

Gina's flannel baby quilt

Gina had me quilt up this adorable flannel baby quilt. The center is a panel and she requested to outline the squares in the center.

Double bubbles in the striped border.

And some little flying butterflies in the large yellow border.

The back.

Thanks Gina!

DoGood Stitches Sampler Quilt

Last November was my month again to come up with a quilt design. I had four of these adorable machine embroidered animal blocks my friend Teresa had given to me along with some coordinating scraps. So in an effort to get one less UFO completed and out of my way, I thought to design our do good stitches quilt around them.

I had each member make two unique 12.5 inch blocks to make a sampler.  I added scraps around the animal blocks in order to make them to size.

I added some 2.5 inch sashing and cornerstones.

For the quilting, I did swirls and every-so-often added a line of various shapes- Like stars.

Circles, hearts, and ribbon candy.

This string block made for the perfect center, so I custom quilted a design in it.

Awesome job once again ladies!  It is now in Texas at Redeemed Ministries.

Luanne's Stars

Luanne made this lovely quilt for her son.

I quilted some cross-hatching in the cream border and c2c in the squares. No marking necessary!  Well, maybe just a few dots in the corners. Oh, and the very outside edge. I used a new tool to mark those perfectly spaced dots. An expanding sewing gauge. I ordered from Here. Pretty handy tool. But keep it away from your little kids. They found mine and warped it a tiny bit. It still works great, but wiggles around a tiny bit more than it should.  Perhaps someday my things will not be broken or destroyed in the blink of an eye by little curious hands...

In the stars, I just did an all-over paisley swirl design. I wanted to keep it simple since the borders were pretty fancy.

The back.

I seriously don't know why I took this picture. Maybe my kiddo took it?? Just showing the areas off the quilt where I tested for tension issues.  Sometimes quilting is messy. Just keeping it real here folks!

Loved how this one turned out! Thanks Luanne!
