One quilt design-2 different quilts


Carol made this lovely scrappy quilt. She will be giving it to her grandson, so knowing that I decided on a quilting design that was more contemporary than flowery.


I ended up doing an all-over giant swirl with a row of circles filled in here and there.


I think it turned out nice.


The curves contrast with all the squares and angles.

Mary Jo made this DNP out of black, white and red fabrics.


I thought the same design would work with this quilt too!


I got a kick reading the 'articles' in her fabric. This one was about uncovering a surprised husband from an avalanche of fabric. I think a lot of us can relate to that!
