Vintage hand-pieced pinwheels

Carol brought me this amazing vintage hand-pieced pinwheel quilt. It was made by her daughter-in-law's grandmother, and needed quilted and finished.

I did a c2c design across the pinwheels and added some scallops and a simple feather in the light blue border. 

I love looking at all the old fabrics. I imagine a lot of them were from clothing.
